Biography
Dr. Aydin is currently working in the Eskisehir Osmangazi University as a Neurosurgeon and the chief of the department of Aerospace Medicine. He is managing the centre of inovative neurosurgery in Eskişehir Osmangazi University for the research projects. He completed his residency training in neurosurgery in Eskisehir Osmangazi University and he completed his PhD in pharmacology in Eskisehir Osmangazi University. He served at HUCH (Helsinki University, Central Hospital, Department of Neurosurgery) a clinical observer in 2012 in consultation of Hernisniemi Juha, MD. PhD and at Zurich University, Department of Neuroradiology a clinical fellow in 2014 in consultation of Anton Valavanis, MD. His clinical interest and academic studies focuses on neuropharmacology, neurovascular surgery, tumor genetics and 3D printer tecnology on Neurosurgery. He has 11 completed research projects. His research has been published in high-level academic journals including World Neurosurgery, Acta Neurochirurgica and Neurosurgical Review. He has authored or coauthored well over 30 papers. Dr. Aydın was successfully finished the cycle of EANS (The European Association of Neurological Societies) and ESMINT (European Society of Minimally Invasive Neurological Theraphy) training courses. He was awarded by Turkish Neurosurgical Society, Prof.Dr. Mahir Tevruz Science and Research Awards and German Neurosurgical Society, Young Neurosurgeon Awards. He is a member of following societies; Turkish Neurosurgical Society, The European Association of Neurological Societies and European Society of Minimally Invasive Neurological Theraphy.
